What does AI Ads Manager do?
It lets you manage AI ads from your Shopify admin. Connect your OpenAI Ads account, create, edit, publish and pause campaigns, see how they perform, set up conversion tracking and check your product data against feed requirements.
Does the app change my products?
No. The app only reads your Shopify products. You make any changes in Shopify, and the app links you straight to the affected product.
Which ad platforms are supported?
OpenAI Ads, for ads in ChatGPT, is supported today. More AI ad platforms are coming soon.
Can a campaign spend money by accident?
New campaigns are always saved as paused. Nothing can spend until you choose Publish and confirm the budget, and OpenAI must also approve the ad. You can pause from the app on any plan.
Does it create or upload a ChatGPT Ads feed?
Yes, if your OpenAI account has product feeds enabled and you have its SFTP details. Otherwise you can still preview your feed and fix catalog issues.
Which requirements are checked?
Item ID, title, description, product URL, brand, seller name, image, availability, price and variant consistency. It is not a Google Merchant Center validator. See the ChatGPT Ads product feed requirements guide for details.
Does a good catalog score mean my ads will be approved?
No. The score covers required source fields in the products scanned. It does not prove account approval, feed acceptance, policy compliance or ad delivery.
How much does it cost?
The Free plan lets you view campaigns and performance and audit up to 5 products. Paid plans start at $14.99 per month and let you create, edit and publish campaigns. Advertising costs are separate and billed by the ad platform.
Do I need an OpenAI Ads account?
You need one to manage campaigns and see performance, and you can create the API key in your OpenAI Ads Manager settings. You can run a catalog audit without one.
